We’ve got some great news! Our friends at CREDO/Working Assets have chosen Project Vote as one of three organizations to receive funding in April of 2014. Instead of allocating funds annually, CREDO and Working Assets are now donating their revenues monthly. But the rules are still the same: the more votes we receive, the more funding we receive.
CREDO/Working Assets – a progressive activist network, as well as a phone and credit card company – is in the business of making change, donating a portion of their revenue to a wide range of nonprofit groups. Since 1985, CREDO/Working Assets has raised and donated more than $76 million. Last year – thanks to your votes – Project Vote was awarded more than $50,000!
With funding from CREDO/Working Assets – powered by your votes – we can continue to see victories like the one we saw last month in California — our first major victory in the nationwide fight to ensure that Americans seeking health benefits under the Affordable Care Act are also provided the opportunity to register to vote, as guaranteed by the NVRA. These state-by-state wins lay the groundwork for free, fair, and accessible elections in November.
