The 2012 election season is already beginning to heat up and with that, we can expect more citizens to register to vote for the first time or update their registration status. What young people who are a year shy of 18 may not know is that, in certain states, they can register to vote now and be ready to cast a ballot in November 2012.
Check out the links below to download a preregistration form directly from your jurisdiction’s Web site or learn more about your state’s preregistration policy here. Citizens in other states who are at least 18 years old may register to vote here.
