ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for everyone2

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Must show name and address:

  • State ID card

  • Driver’s license

  • Military ID

  • Utility bill

  • Bank statement

  • Paycheck

  • Government document (with the voter's name and current address)

If no ID:

Vote a provisional ballot if she or he signs and affidavit.
