ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for all first time voters who registered by mail who either did not previously provide a copy of ID or provided unverifiable ID numbers.¹

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

• Photo ID

• Bank Statement

• Car registration

• Government check/document

• Rent receipt

• Sample ballot

• Utility bill

• Other official document

If no ID:

Vote a provisional ballot and bring ID by the end of the second business day after the election to provide ID to the county election office.
