ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for everyone .1

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Must show name and address.

  • Current/Valid Photo ID

  • Utility bill

  • Bank statement

  • Paycheck

  • Voter confirmation notice

  • Government check

  • Other government document

If no ID:

Vote a provisional ballot and can bring ID by the next day at 5 p.m. in person, or by mail postmarked by 5 p.m. the day after election and received by Monday at 3 p.m.2
