ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for all first time voters who registered by mail who either did not previously provide a copy of ID or could not be verified..¹

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Must show name and address:

• Photo ID Card

• Paycheck

• Government check

• Utility bill

• Bank statement

• Other government document

If no ID:

Vote a provisional ballot.
