ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for all first time voters.

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Must verify name and address:

• Photo ID

• Utility bill

• Bank statement

• Government paycheck

• Government document

If no ID:

Vote a provisional ballot. The voter will then have until either the Friday or Monday after the election to verify identify by bringing ID to the County Clerk (Friday or Monday is determined by individual clerks offices).
