ID necessary at the polls? |
Yes – Only for all voters who registered before September 2004 and did not present a driver's license or social security.
If the voter registered after September 2004, she or he will not need to show ID.
A precinct election official may ask for ID from anyone who is listed as inactive on the rolls, or if the voter is unknown to the election official. |

Vote a provisional ballot. She or he will then have until the Monday or Tuesday after the election to prove identity. |
