IDAHO1

ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for everyone if:

ID verifying both identity and address has not been shown prior to election day.

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Photo ID required:

If the address on the voter's driver's license does not match that of her or his registration, the voter must provide a copy of one of the following to verify her or his address:

  • Utility bill

  • Bank statement

  • Government paycheck

  • Government document

If no ID:

Cannot vote. There are no provisional ballots because voters are allowed to register on election day, therefore without identification at the polls, he or she is not permitted to vote.
