ID necessary at the polls?

Yes – for everyone.

Acceptable forms of ID at the polls:

Must show name and address:

  • Voter ID Card

  • Military ID Card

  • Driver's license

  • Birth Certificate

  • State ID Card

  • Hunting/Fishing License

  • Passport

  • Other Photo ID

  • Utillity Bill

  • Bank Statement

  • Government Check

  • Paycheck

  • Other government document1

If no ID:

Vote a “Question Ballot.”1 The voter will then be notified only if the ballot was not counted and not given the opportunity to remedy the problem with the ballot.2
